Then just use your up and down arrow keys and it should show how the next font will look. Hope this w...

I think that if you want to do knock outs, depending on which software you have ,white would be the last color I would use for this, I think a color that is darker and has alot more contrast would be better.(dark blue or black) After you have made your selection, select Select/ feather 1 pixil. then...

Hi, UI believe that when you open a pic in PS that its default is 72PPI. Easy to change that though. Just go to Image/Image size/and in the box type in 300PPI and click OK. PS will change your photo to 300 PPI. Must warn you though, you will need lots of Ram to run these at this size. Hope this help...

Hi, There are probably as many ways to do what you want to do as there are people that use PS. You could make a template for them or just arrange them on the page as you see fit. Working with layers allows this to be quite easy. Be sure to name your layers though or it can get confusing as you add m...

Hi, I use a Microtek Scanmaker 5900 and have had nothing but very good results. The user interface is easy to follow and it has several options for the user to use to adjust the image before it is scanned to whichever image program you use. You can save the settings and use them over and over if you...

Hi, Heres something you can try to get the cartoon effect. In PS go to the filters and select artistic/find edges, play with the sliders till you get the results you like. Then run the AmphiSoft simplifier filter and see what you can come up with. Also helps if you throw in an adjustment layer to ch...

Some Ideas for you
Hi, One thing I have had good results with is in PS CS. I do alot of knockouts and when I've selected the subject I go to Layers/Matting/defringe. A box pops up and then select just the default(1) pixel. Works well, try it and see for yourself. You can also just contract your selection by however ma...

Hi, I have tried to reproduce your problem here but I don't seem to have any luck. When I cut & Paste or copy the layer it shows up without a drop shadow. To lower the opacity of the selection, put it on its own layer then click on either slider in the layers pallet and lower it there. Hope this hel...

The new Photoshop CS
Hi All, I just received my upgrade to Photoshop CS and I gotta say, it is well worth the money. If you do alot of digital photography and can shoot in the RAW format, then for that alone, this is the "must have" program. There are many more great ideas in this one too. The new file browser is really...

Auto Crop
Hi, I'm not sure that I understand your question but here goes... If you had a auto crop 8bf you would have to make certain that each and every photo you took had the subject matter directly in the center or left or right or where ever the auto crop chooses to crop.. The problem I see is that it wou...
