Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!

Good Morning, Harold Heim! Oh my goodness, I tried that one more time and BINGO! The plugins in X4 now work! I had tried turning off the DEP in X4 perhaps ten times in the past few days, with no effect whatsoever. When I checked back, I found it was no longer there - only Version X6! Today it stuck!...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!

Well, Hello Again! She's DOING A HAPPY DANCE! : :P I found the solution! Seems the 32-bit program lives in c/program files(x86). There is another version in c/program files which is the one I was trying to modify by turning off DEP, but Windows views that one as the 64-bit version! Once I turned off...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!

Good Afternoon! Hi! I installed the 32-bit version of PSP X6, and even though it sees the plug-ins, they still do not work. It is exactly the same issue I had with Version X4, which of course is in the 32-bit format by default, when I began this thread. I sent an e-mail off to Corel Support and Nels...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!

And you thought you had heard the last from me! I think I am beginning to figure this out, even though I doubt there will ever be a solution. I installed Version X6 in 64-bit mode, and it didn't recognize any of plugins. Uninstalled and reinstalled it in 32-bit mode and it saw them, same as Verson X...

Re: Plugins Making Me Crazy!

G;Day! Muriel Again, this time with Chapter 2! I bought and installed Version X6 today and would you believe even though the folders are rightly and properly linked, not one lonely plugin appears in the program!! And it comes as no surprise that when I tried to add it to the list of programs for whi...

Plugins Making Me Crazy!

Good Evening.. I am using PSP X14, running Windows 8.1 64bit, with i7 processor. Half the plugins that worked in Vista no longer work for me. In some cases they simply crash the program. Otherwise they freeze the program with this display or some variation thereof. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y...

Re: PSP X4 and MuRa Plugins

Good Morning.. OOkay, I truly feel silly that this issue was hanging on, and I was not able to fix it. But for your information and others who may be sharing these frustrations, I managed to get them working again. I finally went the extra step and changed the DEP settings from "Turn on DEP for all ...

Re: PSP X4 and MuRa Plugins

Good Morning, Sir..

And yes, I have installed that Service Pack 1.

I had to reinstall the program, and it seems that after the reinstall, the plugins no longer worked.

Curiouser and curiouser..

Re: PSP X4 and MuRa Plugins

Good Afternoon! Well, the gremlins are back. The 'fix' was short lived. Last night I tried using MuRa plug-ins which immediately triggered a 'Memory Access Denied' message. Same with the VanderLee ones. All my attempts to deal with this have been futile. A search on the web turned up some informatio...

Re: Italian Editor Plugins

Good Morning.. Thank-you so much for your reply. I actually have FilterMeister plugin installed on this computer - installed it years ago. This is an excellent workaround, with its own idiosyncrasies. I copy/pasted the Italian Editor files into the Filtermeister folder, only to discover that VX4 now...

Re: Italian Editor Plugins

Good Morning.

Thank-you for your reply.

I shall simply move an image to Version X3 when a FactoryFilter plugin, since I discovered they all make the program freeze and crash.

Perhaps Corel will come up with a fix..

Re: Italian Editor Plugins

Good Evening, Mr. Heim.. Many thanks for your prompt reply.. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y287/Murlag/th_PSPex.jpg All the Paint Shop Pro versions are exempt from DEP. It works with all the other versions. Only this new Version X4 gives me grief. Do you recommend uninstalling and reinstalling th...

Italian Editor Plugins

Good Evening! I am having an issue with Italian Editor plugins in PSP X4 . When I try to open one of these plugins, it is blank as though it does not see the image. Then, ten seconds later the program crashes.. Poof and its GONE! A couple of days ago I had the same issues with MuRa filters, but mana...

Re: PSP X4 and MuRa Plugins

Good Evening..

Oh me nerves! It is several hours later, and I think I found a solution!

I moved the files that were giving me grief into the Filters Unlimited Folder, and BINGO! All is as nature and the good folks who wrote the software intended!

PSP X4 and MuRa Plugins

Good Morning.. A while ago, when I installed Version X3, I could not make the Mura plugins work. So, I installed the patch and added that version to the Data Execution Prevention list, and everything was as it should be. Now, there is the very same problem with Version X4. Since the patch is already...

Ok, here is the URL: http://www.filtermeister.com/fmpatcher/index.htm There is no web page for it so far, but will create one soon. Good Evening.. Vista is giving me grief - no surprise there. I installed the FM Patcher and this annoying window pops up informing me that it cannot execute the file, ...
