Sorry for not specifying the product. Yes, it was ContrastMaster. I just wanted to make sure that when the installer was changed the version number did not.

Halo effect with CM

I used CM on a photo at the beach with a person in the foreground against the sand and ocean. I used "novice" mode and chose the Preview that I thought looked best. After running the full filter and getting back to Photoshop Elements 6, I noticed that there was a bit of a "halo" ...

Are certain photos better able to take advantage of CM than others? And how does one tell by looking?

Mac version #

A previous post said that you updated the Mac version. I just bought and installed the Mac version today (12/12), and the version is 1.0. Did the version # not change?
