Well, my impression is that C1 produces better quality results than PS RAW. Concering workflow I consider PS RAW better if you plan to edit the photos in Photoshop anyway. Still PS RAW contains a lot of sliders I would never use and for which ColorWasher and FocalBlade do a better job. Thanks for y...

Suggestion

Harold, Thanks for considering my suggestion and listening to my whine. Am sure you will come up with the best method to do an auto button and then add a slight tweak from a known set point. Have used all RAW converters on the market, including Capture One (was a beta tester for them on their latest...

ColorWasher 2.0 suggestion

Upgraded to ColorWasher 2.0 mainly for its 16 bit compatibility. The other improvements are good, but I work in 16 bits after RAW conversion and am glad to see it finally released. Considering the FocalBlade 16 bit upgrade was free, I think the upgrade price was a little high. However, it still has ...

Harold,

Could you give us an update on the progress to make ColorWasher work in 16 bit mode?

Thanks,
John

Indoors low light

I use a Canon 10D and take lots of photos indoors. To avoid the harshness of flash, I use a fast aperture 50mm F1.4 lens and available light. This is a great lens but at 1.4 the depth of field (DOF) is very, very shallow. Even when the focus is spot on, one eye can be in focus and the other slightly...

FocalBlade DeBlur Pro is awesome!

Have enjoyed using FocalBlade and ColorWasher for a few months and just found FocalBlade's DeBlur Pro mode...needless to say I am blown away! It increases DOF and really helps bring some of my blurry shots into focus. Be sure and use the black and white halo adjustments for best effect. Wow...if you...

Red eye removal made easy

Use the eliptical tool to select the red portion of the eye pupil. Desaturate. Adjust brightness -30 to -50 as you think looks best. Move to the other eye. Easy and still keeps the catchlights, looks natural.

Cracked version bug

Mine work fine, the pirated version that is cracked does not. I guess this tells us which version you are using.

CS and Colorwasher

Ordered CS last night.

Harold,

Is an update needed ColorWasher to work in 16 bit mode in CS? Once you told me how to colorbalance it using the temp slider, I use it all the time. And using Focal Blade's Halo sliders in the expert mode really makes a difference to me. Great products, thanks!

Thanks for the GREAT products!

I recently purchased both ColorWasher and FocalBlade and just wanted to say thanks for a couple of great products. I have used / purchased almost every sharpening tool on the market and FocalBlade gives me the best results, surpasing products costing more and products that take much longer for my CP...
