Re: De-focus plugin or stand alone
If you overlayed a "fishnet" of rectangular squares, and then used the mouse to distort them to show the perspective, then applied a distance related diffusion, that would be useful and challenging, perhaps. An alternative description of what I had in mind, is if you were to take an angle photo of a...

Re: De-focus plugin or stand alone
Thanks for the recommendations. But, oh, the price! One is $160, the other $199 - that is serious price for a single function plugin. I know I can (and will) download the eval versions, but has anyone one done a comparison? I presume that they may find more in depth differences than me just "playing...

De-focus plugin or stand alone
Hi folks,
I am looking to simulate wide aperture shallow DOF. Preferably in LR, but PS is ok too.
LR has a graduated filter tool, which can be useful for gradual exposure adjustment, but not for GRADUAL gaussian blur. At least not to my knowledge.
Can anyone recommend a tool for this?

Matt and double matt
I am looking for a framing tool to create the effect of a 3D matt and double matt. Frame Galaxy has what, 1800 frames (my God!), but does it have what I am looking for? How can I find out without looking through all, and having to buy it first?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Ok, ok. So I've started reading the manual. I thought I'll quote from page 11, for those that hadn't seen this: Although our ColorWasher and LightMachine plugins can both adjust color and brightness in images, they do so in a very different way and produce very different results. Both tools achieve ...

ColorWasher versus LightMachine
I am a long time user of CW and just bought LM today.
However I would like to see a comparison of the two, and I am sure that such a comparison would be helpful to new purchasers too.
(I also use FocalBlade and B/W Styler. Thanks for your great products!)

Well, I am in Australia. The AU$ buys US$0.917 today. I went to purchase LightMachine which is on special at US$49.95 (let's call it 50 bucks). Element 5 wanted to bill me in AU$ at AU$60 - that's a 20% markup instead of the 9% true. I also was about to cancel, but instead I kept switching the VISA ...

LM versus ColorWasher
I had bought ColorWasher some time back.
Today I bought LightMachine (aka LM). Does LM make ColorWasher obsolete? Or when would you recommend using ColorWasher instead of LM?
