Re: Elements XXL: Perspective cropping/morphing doesn't work

There seems to be a problem on your system. ElementsXXL places an invisible window over the image and the rectangle is drawn on it. A green checkmark and red cross are also displayed on this otherwise invisible window, but they are not visible in your screenshot. So the invisible window is probably ...

Re: Elements XXL: Perspective cropping/morphing doesn't work

After you selected the Perspective Crop command or tool you should see a small Perspective Crop window. If it is not there than something went wrong. If it is there, you simply click on the image, hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse. This draws a rectangle with a grid on the image. Th...

Re: multi light source compensation

In the example image the blue and yellow areas are interwoven, so a "geometrical" or local approach would be ineffective - unless you build a 3D model of the image, which would be even more time unpractical. To avoid such a photo you can place a yellow foil in front of your flash when shoo...

You probably mean a pen tool that uses Bezier curves. Such a tool is also planned for ElementsXXL 4.

Re: multi light source compensation

The only way to do this in ColorWasher is to apply it two times. But you additionally have to create a selection or layer mask before you apply ColorWasher to individually process the yellow and the blue colored image areas. Here are some more detailed instructions. 1. Go to Select > Color Range and...

Re: elementxxl and RAW-CONVERTER

Thanks for your kudos! Here are my comments for your feature requests: 1. Do you mean Crayon brushes? Or simply more brush features? Extended brush functionality is planned for ElementsXXL 4. 2. Creating and recording your own actions will be possible with a new plugin, which will be released very s...

Re: RAW support from Bridge CS6

The only thing you can do under XP is to use an (freeware) image viewer like XnView or IrfanView instead of Bridge to see thumbnails of your raw files. I will add that to the FAQ.

Re: Comments and Suggestions for MetaRaw?

I do not think that a Lightroom version of MetaRaw would be so interesting for many people. Many people seem to upgrade to the latest Lightroom version anyway. However, now that MetaRaw is used by the PhotoWiz standalones, you could get e.g. the ColorStyler standalone, use it to convert your raw fil...

Re: Opening file in Metaraw

Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately fixing a crash problem for the Fuji X-Pro2 raw files in MetaRaw 2.01 produced a crash problem for other Fuji raw files like those of the X-E2.

I now uploaded a fixed version of MetaRaw 2.01.

Re: Opening file in Metaraw

Sorry to hear that. Actually the "Open in Camera Raw" command bypasses MetaRaw.

Please go to Help > About Plugin > Camera Raw. When the MetaRaw dialog appears, activate the "Don't Display" check box and click OK. Now open a raw file with File > Open. Does it crash now?

Re: Selecting or adding lens profiles in MetaRaw 2.01

Thanks for your request. Actually it is possible to add a feature to MetaRaw for manually selecting a lens for lens correction. I add your request on the to-do-list. However, there are no profiles for Walimex lenses supplied by Adobe Camera Raw - unless Walimex lenses are manufactured by another com...

You probably had Photoshop Elements running when you uninstalled ElementsXXL. As a result the plugin files in the Plug-Ins sub folder of the Photoshop Elements folder was not deleted. Actually the uninstallation should have removed the Lightroom menu entries. Seems it did not work on your system. So here are some inst...
