To "fade" an image in Photoshop double click it in the Layers palette to turn it into a layer. Then turn the Transparency in the Layers palette to something between 10% and 50%. If you want to fade it to a special color, create a new layer and fill it with your desired color. Finally drag it beneath...

A mouse-over button can certainly be done in ImageReady. I usually do that by creating two images. One image that is displayed when the mouse is somewhere else, and a second image for the case that the mouse is placed on it. Then I use Dreamweaver to insert a mousee-over button and specify both imag...

Please reinstall Plugin Commander.

If that doesn't help, try to move the FFL file to another folder or try selecting a different folder in the "Select Destination Folder" window.

We planned to do a Mac version of Plugin Commander for Macintosh, but as Adobe abandonned the Filter Factory plugin in Photoshop 7, many features of the Windows Plugin Commander would now be useless on the Mac. So there are currently no firm plans for a Mac version. I came across two simple plugin m...

Hi, Photoshop already includes such an effect, but there are also two or three plugins who let you do that. One of them is offered by http://www.humansoftware.com, but quite expensive. Unfortunately I can not remember where I have seen another one. Try using a search engine and enter "distortion gri...

My initial estimation for Plugin Galaxy 1.50 was a bit too optimistic. The HyperTyle release and the holiday season delayed everything a bit. I hope that Plugin Galaxy 1.50 for Mac will be released at the end of September or begining October. As the Mac version of Plugin Galaxy is developed by anoth...

One more plugin won't affect Photoshop's perfomance noticeably. There could be a problem if you have several hundred plugins installed in Photoshop.

Try applying the Solarize effect again and experiment with the control(s). If you are lucky you might get the original image back.

The size of the downloaded file has to be 2.954.166 bytes. If it is smaller you have to try to download again. Some internet providers cache downloaded files locally, so they are giving you the corrupted file every time you try to download again. In this case you have to wait a few days until the co...

Plugin Commander Light lets you do many things with Filter Factory plugins, so I wouldn't call it useless. It should give an adequate impression of how the Pro Version works.

Do you want to import Premiere project files or do you want to execute Premiere plugins in your application? I don't know if Premiere project files are described in the SDK. However, KPT 6 doesn't seem to available on the Corel web site. Does anyone know if they have made it a part of Photo-Paint?
