Smeone gave me a CD with over 1,000 plugins called Andrew's 1,000+ plugins. Before I install them, are they any good? This is another reason that I like using my old 200MHz Win98 PC for 'regular", ie unimportant everyday graphics work. I can install & test almost everything I want to as long as Win...

Fireworks works a bit strange in my opinion... I definitely agree. Fireworks became my very first graphics application, after one of my online friends recommended it to me. After my initial excitement, (mostly for the effects it came with) I found that I had outgrown its capabilities...in all of ab...

Do you have any idea about 2d morphing tool. Yes, I have an idea about 2d morphing tools. In fact, I have too many ideas for me to even attempt to realistically list them all within the space of 24 hours. Perhaps you were interested in something specific? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8...

Please have a look in Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and see if you find an entry for FocalBlade. I rarely question the Master, but wasn't BladePro developed a few years before FocalBlade even existed??? ...not to mention the fact that FocalBlade is not made by Flaming Pear....

One of my favorite techniques to avoid all of the hassle of backgrounds/selections is to save an image with a transparent-background in PNG format. This way, I don't need to worry about selecting anything...I can just c&p the image onto any background I need to, into a new layer for adjustment/editi...

What it comes down to (((for me))) is mastering your preferred tools...you can learn a great deal simply by playing around, experimenting with various tools/techniques just to see what you can create. I think that a good understanding of LAYERS would help the most in your line of work, because you c...

Herald makes some good points, and IMHO, it all depends upon what YOU personally require for your own happiness/satisfaction. I still use my old 200 MHz Win98 machine for a lot of my graphics work, simply because it's so quick & easy, no fuss, no mess....I can be entirely done & logged-off with a pr...

How can I by default open JPG's so there are no locked layers/layers are unlocked? I believe you are out of luck, because the JPG compression format doesn't even support layers. Any JPG's "layers" would be "locked" by definition, since there is only ONE layer to begin with. I would recommend saving...

What *specifically* are you wanting to do? There are a great number of effects/filters that could achieve/simulate approximately the same kind of "look" that your example contains, but I sense that you're looking for something fairly specialized... I'd love to help you with this, if you can define y...

Considering my appraisal of the quality of ULEAD's products, this is both very surprising and extremely disappointing. Don't take a dump where you eat, ULEAD. I respectfully suggest that you find the time to both acknowledge, and to take care of solving your customers' dissatisfactions, before the p...
