Chroma filters appear to be graduated filters could you ?
Cokin Vari-Color filters change similarly but vary between two colors, could a person vary two layers and combine them to achieve the same effects? :D Red/Blue--Purple/Orange--Blue/yellow--etc.. These filters are made to be used with a neutral polarizer and that adds another dimension. Polarizers do...

Cokin vari-colour-(color) filters ?
Can any one tell me how to mimic Cokin vari-colour filters.
As in their filter numbers 170 through 173.
The actual filters are linear polarizers and I have had some problems using digital cameras whith linear filters (ND, etc..).

Thanks-Vista tricks, are they listed on the Plugin Site
Thanks for the information !
Getting plug-ins to work in Vista:
(1). Which term or phrase would I search for to find these tricks ?
(2). Would they possibly work for other plug-ins ?
I will try to find a 64 bit computer that I can afford and start moving up to the newer versions.

RE: Moving from 32 bit XP Pro to 64 bit computer
I have PhotoShop 7 but find limited memory issues. However I'm not sure how to proceed in moving up to a 64 bit computer and the newer OS and upgrade to PhotoShop CS. I have heard horror stories about Vista and that CS is slower than version 7. I have also read questions about running 32 bit plug-in...

I just received you new-news letter.
The last one must have disappeared at the server level, as I always check my diverted spam files just incase of spam diversion errors.
Thanks for the quick (as always) replies.

Dear: HaraldHeim Thanks for the information ! First I will try Paint Shop Pro X, as it came with a package that I purchased many month ago. I never tried it, as I'm sold on Photoshop 7 and have been using Photoshop since the first versions. This will save me purchasing more plug-ins (with emphases o...

However I have an older version of Intellihance and just purchased a package with a newer version of Intellihance. I will be scanning very many old analog photos ...

Couldn't find version 4 however found a work around !
8) I purchased Photoshop Elements 7 for $30.00 on sale at a local store. I purchased Genuine Fractals 5 in a Package deal on EBay for about half of the price for the new package. The package allowed me to upgrade my Mask and Intellihance (very old versions that OnOne now owns) at the same time. I'll...

OnOne's web page gives no specifics for compatibility and only list the newest version. There was no option to search FAQ's for older software. They haven't replied to me in the last two weeks and for the first time, I was actually able to get through to their toll free telephone number (Pacific Tim...

I'll look for version 4. OnOne hasn't replied to any of my inquiries and their web pages only list the newest version. However there was a disclaimer that the newer versions were not checked with Photo Shop versions prior to version 7 and were not recommended with that usage (not their exact words b...

Only one link in the original posting leads to RasVector.
That link only has a rar extension. I have Windows and I think that rar is for Apple computers.
Can any one help ?

Need help will Genuine Fractals version 5 will work with PS
At least two (2) sellers on EBay told me that Genuine Fractals v5 would work with PhotoShop 7. :D However, OnOne site says it only works with CS. :-? Has anyone tried it to see if it works with PS v7 ? I found, that if used with Focal Blade (after enlargement) this software provides superior images....

Any zoom even 200 % would work
:o :D I would like to zoom into an area in the focal blade preview. Thus to see more accurately the actual sharpening. An example would be to make a square in the preview window and then do ctl - + to enlarge that portion. 400 % might be over kill but I don't know if this can be done. I usually view...
