Go here and look under "Light". You'll see several plug-ins listed that can add lighting effects to images, including The Plugin Site's own LightMachine.

Let me know if that helped!

Plugin Galaxy are Harald's older filters (with the small preview windows, yes?), and AFAIK aren't compatible with CS3. However, his current
PhotoWiz line of products is CS3 ready.

I recommend Alien Skin's SnapArt, and not just for sketching either! See this guy's site for much more detailed Snap Art sketch examples.

See the Sketcher interface and examples here.

I just released issue #9 of my Plugs 'N Pixels ezine, and one full page is devoted to a featured artist who uses B/W Styler.

The offer still stands to publish more PhotoWiz plug-in artistry!

The PS CS3 beta had problems with a flickering/disappearing cursor; I haven't tried the final version yet so I don't know if it's an Adobe thing or a plug-ins thing. As for CS3-compatible plug-ins, I've begun putting a "CS3 ready" button on the relevant plug-in pages on my site (scroll down on this ...

On the Mac I always use Calico. It handles standard horizontal panoramas as well as stacked sets of related images. For Windows you might try PhotoVista. Google can help you find other options.

Photoshop CS3 is supposed to have better stitching tools than CS2; I have not tested it yet.

I would recommend BlackMagic for Windows and Coloriage for Windows/Mac.

Harald's B/W Styler may also be of interest.

Also, prep your image--it needs Levels adjustment and perhaps conversion to grayscale to remove the yellow cast.

Hi Chris,

Look through the "Color alteration & effects" section of the creative image effects chart posted here. Surely you'll find something!

BlackLilly, I'm a Mac guy and can only make some guesses since I've never seen this with my copy of DS but: 1) What was the nature of your crash (hardware, software)? 2) Did you start over with a fresh installation of WinXP? I'm assuming you did. If you simply restored from backup, this may be the p...

Call for PhotoWiz-generated artwork for publication!

Hi all, As you may know, I publish a page of artwork generated with Photoshop-compatible plug-ins on the last page of my Plugs 'N Pixels ezine (see URL in sig). To date I've created the images myself. Now, I'd like to invite those of you on The Plugin Site forum to submit artwork created with any si...

The KPT Collection (see visuals here) is an updated set of the popular Kai plug-ins, offered by Corel. It hasn't been updated lately, but did run natively in Mac OS-X and probably Windows XP upon its release.

There are a couple of free plug-ins listed here.
