Your URL doesn't seem to work. However, you can simulate a film roll effect by creating a film roll mask and overlaying the video with it.

To animate the film roll mask, e.g. to make it move downwards, you have to make the mask larger than the video and apply a motion effect to it.

Adobe Premiere uses Quicktime to read JPG and GIF files. So if Quicktime isn't installed on your system, Premiere can't open these files.

I'm not that familiar with Corel Draw. If the brushes only work in the Corel Draw application and not in the Photo-Paint application, then the answer is no.

Photoshop and PS Elements have a nice pencil filter.

I only know the KPT plugins that can create AVI files.

If you want to produce cool animated effects, I recommend you to use Adobe After Effects which is a full featured animation application. There are a lot of animatable plugins available for it.

If they don't mention compatibility on their site, you just have to test it out yourself.

As far as I know the compatibility with with PSP 7 is very low while they will probably work in PS Elements.

You can install mask file where ever you want. When you want to use them in a graphics application you just need to point it to the folder of the masks.
