Thanks for your suggestions, Lynda & Pegasus! I've had PSP8 for some time, but I use v5 'cause it's simpler, stabler, and apparently has better memory management. My searching the web for deformation plugins and trying them out resulted in: Vicman's "Cartoonist" seems to be the best, but it's $20 to...

Deform Plugin?
I use PSP5 still, and its own deform tools are pretty limited. I have Richard Rosenman's "Pinocchio" plugin; its chief limitations are that each mouse-drag-and-save-result one performs requires opening the plugin and starting over, and that its deformation area must be a circle. Does anyone know of ...

Magnifier for Plugins' Preview Windows
I've never seen anyone mention the use of a screen magnifier to help them see the preview window of PhotoShop filters in particular. (Everyone's always used them, right? --and it's taken me this long to realize the obvious? ) In case everyone hasn't, I found "Lens v0.9" at Snapfiles. It magni...

Caravaggio is new plugin (PS, PSP compatible) by Xero, at http://www.xero-graphics.co.uk The site has a few brief but sufficient instructions for using it. It's my favorite "oil" filter now, and it is free. Here's one portrait I did with Caravaggio; the original photograph was mediocre, and the filt...

Using PSP5 with XPpro: the UI changed
I've finally got XP on my computer. It is wonderfully more stable than Win98se, but PSP5 may not be happy with the change. I haven't found anything that's impossible to do (yet?) with PSP & XP, but I have found that PSP makes its controls- and layers- and colors-palettes much larger than they used t...

There's also Sketch Master (demo) at http://www.Redfieldplugins.com, which has three filters for color (water color, crayon lite, crayon); these effects are complimentary to littleinkpot's Chalkaholic.

I've had the Redfield plugins only a few months, and I simply love them. The Sketch Master rescued several of my not-so-great photographs, too. The last time I visited the site, I downloaded Hubbabub's textures for the Redfield plugins, and they're great. It's awfully nice to have the problem of cho...

Which msvcrt.dll for which plugin?
Is there a way to know which MSVCRT*.DLL is necessary for a given plugin? I.e., by the year of the plugin's release?
(I don't need info about Adobe's plugin.dll; I have that info.)
Thanks
