Missing DLL file

I have just installed Photoshop CS2 on my laptop and when I open the programme it tells me that the file M200twn Dll is missing. Although I have downlaoded this Dll file I am unable to install it Windows Vista refuses to allow the install. Any suggestions appreciated

Nearly all the plugins that worked in XP will work in Vista. I have yet to find one that does not and I have a whole load of them, including Eyecandy 4 Eye candy 5 Nature Xenoflex etc etc

The quick answer to that is to put the ATN file in your actions folder presume you are using photoshop ?

Photoshop CS2 & 3

Is it possible to have CS2 and CS3 installed on the same computer. Would like to know before getting CS 3 What pitfalls I might encounter.My O/S is Windows XP Home edition. Thanks in advance

Actions are usually .atn files and plugins are normally 8bf files theregore actionsmust go in your action folders and plugins go in your filter folder, so yes they are different. I keep all my actions in a folder outside photoshop on a seperate hdd. I find it easier that way but that is only my opin...

Petty, try this site for an action http://www.atncentral.com/. Loads of free ones on there. You can also find tutorials to do the thing that you want just google for OUT OF FRAME PHOTO TUTORIALS.
Good luck with the project. I have tried many times but give up in the end. but that is just me being DULL
