The Plugin Site

I am trying to achieve the look of sparkling crystal from an object. Can someone advise on what filters to use and how they do it? I've seen this done but cannot find out how.

Our Plugin Galaxy product at www.thepluginsite.com/products/plugingalaxy/ contains a plugin called "Star" which lets you add sparkling stars to an image. Maybe it can be used to achieve the effect you are looking for.

Other than that I think there are some tutorials available for PSP that explain how to do such an effect. I don't have any URLs at hand, but Google will surely provide some URL with the right key words.
