my canon G3 vs the S45 or S50

I bought the Canon G3. I am by no means a good photographer. I bought it because: it's a cannon, it's the best non-pro camera, it has a zillion features, it has a swivel LCD. I bought it over the S45 because it has 1 more X zoom and swivel LCD.

However, now I'm wondering if I should have bought the S45 (or the new S50) because the G3 has a pesky lens cap that falls off, and it only fits in my jacket pocket. Yes, I knew it prolly wouldn't have fit my pocket before I bought it.

Soo does anyone know if there is a site that has a side by side comparison of ALL the features the G3 has that the S45 is lacking?

Thanks!

I use a G2 myself and once had a look at the S40. The S40/45 has less features and is better suited for quick snapshots. Image quality is almost the same, but the G2/G3 has a faster lens. If you don't do any special shots or many shots in a row you can go with the S40/45, otherwise I'd recommend the G2/G3.
