CD-rom resumes

OK so I know how to use a handful of design programs. I have a bunch of work all printed out and in my portfolio. But I want to do a cd-rom portfolio now. What should I use so that the cd rom will auto run when inserted into the viewers pc?

(although it doesn't seem to like PNG transparency. Plain PNG is great)
