I collect free Type1 fonts (for PC). Having downloaded tons and having left them sit for endless months I have forgotten what they look like. Can anyone suggest applications for any of the following whether freeware or not for Windows XP:

(1) a font manager than doesn't require a decade of techinal expertice to operate.

I want to be able to create my own groups of fonts, and easily active or deactive them based on what mood project I'm playing with. Sure I have a gig of ram, but why waste it? :) That and it's easier to scroll through a short list of fonts.

(2a) an application that will show Type1 previews of all the files in a directory (and subdirectories)

(2b) optionally print them

(2c) generate a web page viewable without needing the original fonts of the viewer's machine

2a - 2c needn't be all in one application

thanks a bunch !!!!

I can't say enough good things about The Font Thing. Been using this freeware for two years or more and it has saved countless headaches.
