PicturetoTV issues....

I`m wondering if anyone has been using PictureToTV slideshow?, this allows you to construct sets of slideshows with menus to CDr/CDrw and DVD which can be burnt to VCD and SVCD formats for playing on most DVD players. The problem i`m encountering is that a good majority of my works are 1024x768 and when i encode and burn the project the images are always cropped no matter what size i reduce them down to whilst maintaining the aspect ratio. Any advice on this issue would be more than welcome because i cannot see a way round it, the images are jpegs but try as i might its been hard to find any solution. Bodz..
