Multiple photos on a page

I am very new at Photoshop and would like to place anywhere from 2-12 photos on a page, in different locations. Do I need templates or just a layout? I would like a pattern where I could just paste the photo in a set place and another in another place to make something artistic. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi,
There are probably as many ways to do what you want to do as there are people that use PS. You could make a template for them or just arrange them on the page as you see fit. Working with layers allows this to be quite easy. Be sure to name your layers though or it can get confusing as you add more and more photos to your page. Also be careful not to overdo it. Too many on a page will be distracting. Try and develop a theme for each page and work to that end with your pics.
Good luck

Hi again,
I just wanted to add this. I have written several tutorials for basic photo restoration and one for making a collage using a template. Visit this site and read how I did them.

Hope this helps.
