super 8 film grain

I'm looking to get that grainy film feel that you see on old super 8 movies of in those old "countdowns" 10, 9 8, etc before movies. I want to apply this texture to some photos...can anyone help?

Perhaps Van der Lee's "Old Movie" plug-in.

It looked great, however, I work on a mac and it is not compatible! Any other suggestions?
