Printing CONFUSION

Post by chaitereye »

I’m new to the printing world & having a lot of trouble making a 4 X 6 post card. I want two rows of four landscape images across (total 8),
equal amounts of space around the edges & in between the images.
Is there an uncomplicated way I can do that in Photoshop?

What you need is a template ........ is your paper size Letter or A4 (or whatever) ? What file format do you want the template ? (jpg, tiff, psd, wfm, bmp ??) Let me know and I'll up a template for you for you to download and use in CS2 (or any other graphic software). 8)

Printing Confusion

Yes, I was trying to make a template but I just couldn't get the same amount of space around the pictures. I decided on a different layout which would be three rows of three landscape pictures (9) on a 4 X 6 postcard. The printer said to make it 4.35"x5.6" because of the bleed issue.
I probably would want to put it in a psd format. It is SO nice of you to offer a total stranger help like this. And I would be most grateful!
P.S. I have PS CS but it runs too slow on my computer. So I still use PS7.

I'm not sure what restrictions gmail imposes on attachments so I'll email the download link to your gmail account for you to download from rapidshare.de
