Photoshop CS2 using Photoshop Elements 4.0 Help Files?

eGreetings,

I just installed Photoshop CS2. And I had Photoshop Elements 4.0 already installed.

When I open Photoshop CS2 and go to Help on the menu bar and choose Photoshop Help a window opens titled Adobe Help Center. From the top of the window I click PRODUCT HELP and in the For: drop down box I think I should be able to choose Photoshop CS2, but the only help options that shows is:
Adobe Photoshop Element 4.0 or Adobe Help Center 2.0

No Photoshop CS2.

To try to fix this I uninstalled Photoshop Elements 4.0, BUT it did not change anything.
Photoshop Elements 4.0 is the only help that is available inside Photoshop CS2.

How can I fix this so that I can view the help files for Photoshop CS2?

I am really puzzled.

Thanks so much for your time and kind assistance.

Best to you,
Jeri

Ok - Found the fix!

Basically you need to downloadfrom Adobe the Photoshop CS2 Help Package and install it.

For additional information, see Technical Document #319210.

For Windows:
To install:

1. Exit Photoshop CS2 and the Adobe Help Center.
2. Copy the entire ZIP file (do not unzip!) to the Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Help Center\AdobeHelpData\Packages folder.
3. Launch the Adobe Help Center EXE file in Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Help Center/ahc.exe to allow the Help Center to process the Help package.
4. Exit the Adobe Help Center.

Hope this help anyone else looking too.

Best wishes to all,
Jeri
