Photoshop 7 books?

Postby YodaMan » Wed Jan 22, 2003 10:55 pm

What are the best Photoshop 7 'how-to' books? I'm new to the program and want to learn how to use it fully.

Thanks,

YodaMan
Since I see 'the blue screen of death' so often, could I at least make it look cooler?

It depends on what you want to do with Photoshop.
If you are want to be an all round whizz, the two books I would suggest are
Real World Photoshop 7 by David Blatner
and
Photoshop 7 Studio Techniques by Ben Willmore
if on the otherhand you want to become a color expert start with
Photoshop Color Correction by Michael Kieran
and if your sights are set on prespress then the must read book is
Professional Photoshop by Dan Margullis
if you just want to dabble, try
Adobe Photoshop Classrom in a Book
Hope this helps

Photoshop Tutorial

There is an excellent CD/DVD program put out by Total Training (www.total training.com) called "Total Training for Adobe Photoshop 7".

The program is a complete "take you by the hand" type tutorial that will take you for the beginning to the end. It cost me about $250.00 but has increased my knowledge on the higher end and those of my staff from the beginnging through advanced stages.

Hope this helps.
