limited size of Photoshop plugins menu-bar

Hello

I have Photoshop 5.0.1 and, indipendently from my screen resolution, the menu bar of the plugins/filters menu does not hold more than 26 lines/ 'folders'.
This means that the vertical axis of the screen is filled up at 800x600, but, whether I increase the resolution (and reinstall Photoshop at higher resolutions) the filters folders in the cascade menu do remain 26 (leaving much available space below the bottom of the menu).

I have Pluginsmanager 2, but it cannot solve the problem with it.

If I add more plugins, the old ones fill other folders, but these always sum up to 26 in total, instead of employing the available space.

I hope I ve succeeded in explaining satisfactorily.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

You can only solve that problem by upgrading to Photoshop 6 or 7. Photoshop 5 only displays a limited number of sub menu on the Filter menu. There is no work-around.

thank you HaraldHeim
maybe -if I well remember- already Photoshop 5.5 has that bug (?) fixed.

I don't know if Photoshop 5.5 has it fixed. I never used that version.
