Using PSP5 with XPpro: the UI changed

Post by D_Spider »

I've finally got XP on my computer. It is wonderfully more stable than Win98se, but PSP5 may not be happy with the change. I haven't found anything that's impossible to do (yet?) with PSP & XP, but I have found that PSP makes its controls- and layers- and colors-palettes much larger than they used to be.

Here is a picture, with the controls palette taking up far more area than it needs along its right side and bottom. Notice how the toolbars and their text along left side and top of work area are perfectly normal in size. Anybody have a clue?

you have the choice whether you get a more recent version of PSP or whether you disable XP theme. You can also buy window blinds which allow to decide which programm you don't want to apply a theme.

Hey, mehdi, thanks! I was just wondering if I should upgrade the shareware windowblinds I've been using. I'll try using the traditional Windows scheme first, just to see.
