I have something strange going on with Vm Zoom Blur and wonder of anyone here can help.

For ages I have used Vm filters with PSP 7 and all is fine. I have now upgrades to PSP 9 and find that random filters don not appear on the filter menu. most recently the Zoom Blur filter. I have tried a straight copy to plugin folder and passing through plugin commander but neither has made the filter appear on the list - although I can see it on PSP 7

anyone any ideas?

Maybe you have two ZoomBlur.8bf files in your PSP 9 plugin folder. PSP ignores a plugin if there is another plugin with the same file name (e.g. from another company).

Thanks for that I didn't realise - it seems as if although it is zoom blur effect they called it zoom and of course plugins like FF have one called zoom too. I renamed VM filter to zoomblur and hey presto
