Saving files in PSP

How can I automatically save files in PSP7 the same way every time?There is an option in PSP where every file will automatically be saved in that specific format. I use to know where is was & thought it was in preferences but can't find it now.

I don't remember if it is exactly the same in PSP7 (I'm looking at PSPX) but go to File » Preferences » General Program Preferences » (probably) Display and Caching. Check the option Re-use last type in file save as dialog (if it isn't like this the wording should be quite similar).

Thanks so much, Jaci! That worked. I knew it was something easy. Half the time is usually is. So much frustration for nothing.

There should be a note on every software about frustration being part of the package
