As a rookie, most folks do not realize that PSP Album, PSP Studio and PSP 8 thru XI resources generally work together. There are exceptions, but generally frames are not among those exceptions in the versions mentioned. Various versions also come with edges/photo edges and mats/mattes which can really add to the overall look.

Jasc/Corel official free sources:
newsletter (1 frame + one tube every month, visit archive and pull installer files from each monthly newsletter yourself. I do this and change the install path to a newsletter folder I created in "My Documents". otherwise get lost after a reinstall.)

Creative downloads: older newsletters and older components

PSP8 components: tube converter can be handy

PSP Studio components: see PSP9 components.

PSP9 components: you'll want the shapes and help files too.

Rookie Question

Post by Janetb4oz »

Hi there,

When you download from a site you are asked where you would like it to go to - if it's a zip file I put it on my Desktop. If it's just the plugin itself I have a folder in my PC where I keep all my stuff for PSP (like Tubes in their folder, graphics in theirs etc) called Plugins and in that folder there are subfolders for each of the plugins. I don't load them into PSP because it makes PSP run really slowly and if you have too many in there it will crash.

If you're not sure where they've gone when you've downloaded them, try doing a search for the name of the plugin - that may help you out.

Hope this helps a little - :)
Cheers,
Janet
