Actually you should be able to use most of the plugins that worked in PSP 9 and X2.

Someone reported some problems here:
http://www.thepluginsite.com/forum/view ... 34&p=12867

Additionally plugins created with FilterMeister show a discolored preview when applying them to a layer, which was not the case with PSP 9/X2. There are also some plugins that only work in Photoshop and not PSP, so these also do not work in PSP 9/X2.

What exactly did you hear about these problems?

I am using PSPX4 and been a beta tester. There are some issues with this version with plugins/filters. It is currently being reviewed and a Service Pack 1 will be out shortly for beta testers to review.

I am one of the people who have had major issues with getting my plugins to work.
MuraMeister completely crashes PSPX4, plus a few others.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed the SP1 is going to be a good fixer!

Mura Meister needs to be patched with FM Patcher to work under Vista and 7. No PSP fix will be able to change that.

Keep us posted about the PSP X4 SP1.

Would you like to tell me how I patch MuraMeister with the patcher please?

I don't actually have the filter added in my folder currently due to PSPX4 continually crashing if I try to open the plugin. I would like it to work.

Yes, I'll keep you posted about PSPX4 and the SP1.

Thanks
Maureen

Thank you for the link and I'm very happy to say that I patched my MuraMeister plugins and they now work perfectly in PSPX4.

The 1st Patch came out this week for PSPX4 and Filters Unlimited seems to be working correctly and to the best of my knowledge and testing all my other Plugins look fine.
