Help with Filters Unlimited 2 w/PSP X6

Postby Jonquility » Mon Jan 13, 2014 5:55 pm

Hi Everyone,
I am new here so I hope this question hasn't been asked before.
I have a new computer with Windows 8 and I create with PSP. Unfortunately I have to use PSP X6 and am just getting around to figuring out how to put in the plugins. Now I really cannot figure out how to import filters into ICNET Filters Unlimited. I don't want to spend another couple of weeks trying to figure this one out. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am sorry you feel it is unfortunate that you have to (?) use PSPX6.

I selected not to install the 64-bit version of X6 as there aren't many plugins written for 64-bit systems.
I only use the 32-bit version and everything works well.
To make the plugins work in PSP:
File>Preferences>File Locations.
In the File Locations dialog box: select Plugins>Add
Then navigate to where you have filed the plugins you want to add.
Click OK.

For some plugins you might need to change the Data Execution Prevention settings in Windows, otherwise they won't work.

Hope this helps :-)
