I had bls Background Explorer by brentleim Software on my old Compaq PentiumII,Win98se. I used it constantly to view, copy, or delete my large collections of tiles and backgrounds. I t was the best tile viewer and none of the others(freeware)do what it did or has its features. I upgraded to a new computer SonyVaioRX860,pentium4,WinXPHomeEd, recently. Although the program installs, I cannot view a tile as a seemless tile, it just stays as one small single tile. I did a Google search several times, but it appears the company no longer extists and the company with that name doesn't seem to be the same one as before and the program is not on the site with that name. It seems no longer to exist and has not updated for XP. Does anyone know of a program that does the same thing that works with XP or how I can make it work with Xp. TileViewer, BgTester,Texview just don't do what the blsExplorer did or have it's features. Do you know anyone who could make a program that did what blsExplorer did that works for XP? What the program did that the others don't is it had a Windows Explorer Tree to find the files along the side, and you could copy the files to a folder or move them or delete them or rename from a right click menu-very easy, very fast. Help.

Sounds to me that you probably just have to activate an option to make Background Explorer display images in a tiled fashion. Try to find it!

I haven't been on line since the 23rd so I just got this. I tired that and several other things but nothing worked so I think it is the program with the XP. But I am not 100% sure what you mean by "options". The program itself has very few settings or options within it and I tried changing the setting I was using from W98 but it didn't work. I tired the "Compatability Mode" thing that XP has and tried a W98 setting but that did not make it tile either. The other Tile Viewing Programs from my W98se Computer work fine on the XP and tile but they are not as useful as the blsExplorer. Thanks for your help.
