making compositrions cycle

Hi All,
i made a small 8 frames composition containing a small animation.
I put this compo into the main composition and tried to make that 8 frame compo cycling, but nothing will work. The manual says i should go over the interpret footage menu and make the footage cycle.
But i´m working with PSDs and the cycle feature is disabled.
I´m kind of newbie to AFX, someone got an idea?

make sure you imported the footage 'as a composition' when you brought it into the project.
