Day-For-Night Plugin/Action

I'm looking for a plugin/action which produces a cinema-like day-for-night effect. I've tried decreasing the saturation and adding a blue tint, but it just doesn't look right. Thanks.

There are probably better ways to do this, but I just ran a quick test to see what I could get. On the photo I tested, these settings gave me a reasonable effect. Using Photoshop CS
1. Saturation Adjustment Layer set to -80
2. Levels adjustment layer with center slider set to 0.57
3. Photo Filter adjustment layer set to Deep Blue, 59%, Retain Luminosity.
BTW, I also tried Nik's Midnight filter, and the result was too stylized for this effect. But if you want a stylized result, this could do it, and I think Flaming Pear's Melancholytron could probably do it too.
