Looks like a filter was applied to them that smoothes the surface areas and keeps the edges as they are. There are several plugins of this type for reducing noise.

Yeah I have been playing with Focal Blade, Power Retouche and Image Doctor this morning. But I am getting nothing like the results on these pictures. Any other suggestions for a plugin I could try?

Thanks Lorna

Yes, it could have been somthing like NeatImage, but NeatImage doesn't work on video files unless you export the video frames as image files, batch process them and combine them again to a video. But the amount of work for doing that would be quite high.

Maybe there is a tool like NeatImage for video files, but I never heard of it. There is a similar tool called Noise Ninja, but I don't know if it supports processing video files.

could it be this one?

Hi

Saw in the post about textile plugin, the plugins from Humansoft have
one that looks very much like the effect you are asking about....
