plug-in generates error.....Hey all. I am havng a (not significant) problem with Flaming Pear's plug-ins. Whenever I use the "flood" filter, sometimes I receive a "Plug-in generated an error" message. This happens the majority of the time with only the flaming Pear software such as "hue and Cry" and "Melancholytron" as well as "Superblade pro". The plug-ins are installed correctly however I can't understand the reason this happes. Any Advice?--IRISH

The error message you are getting usually appears when a plugin crashes in PSP.
Did you apply the Flaming Pear plugins under some special conditions e.g. selections, transparency, floating selection? Maybe the Flaming Pear plugins don't work under special conditions in PSP.
flaming pear plur-ins...Harald, I think I may have found a fix for the "crashing" plug-ins. I downloaded RESET.EXE files for the plug-ins and reset them and haven't received the message as of yet (knock on wood-HE HE). Thanks---IRISH

Plugin error in PSP 7I've had a few plugins crash myself especially one that I would like to use
Ormente: "Plastifier" downloaded from: http://www.thepluginsite.com/resources/freeff.htm For some reason all the other plugins in this set work perfect. I followed your link to be able to download Reset.exe but it just took me to another forum. Please help Thanks
The Ormente Plastifier filter is created with FilterFactory and uses FilterFactory's cnv command. This command has bug that causes the plugin to crash under some conditions or graphics applications.
The only way to avoid the crashing is to use this plugin with the free version of FilterMeister available at http://www.filtermeister.com. You just have to open the plugin in FilterMeister and press Compile to use it. To create a new plugin of the Ormente Plastifier filter with FilterMeister, you need to purchase FilterMeister.
