The Plugin Site

I have a plugin for Photoshop which allows me to open NEF files and work on them, and for a minute I thought it was going to do the business with PSP too, which I am more comfortable with. Alas, no joy - it hiccups at the last minute, says something about an unknown error and refuses to open the files. Does anyone know of a plugin which will work with PSP? I'd appreciate any help.
