Question on plugins for Ulead Photoimpact

Post by farran »

Hi, I am just getting started on the plug-in stuff.

I use Ulead Photoimpact 10 with xp.

On this site, lots of plug-ins state that compatible with photoimpact.

So when I download, and put it in my plug in folder, why does not show up in the effects folder as stated.

Am I putting the wrong file ---I am sure I'm just steps away from getting the to work but need someone's help.

Thanks. Farran

You need to select the plugin path in PhotoImpact's Preferences. I never tried to place plugins in PI's plugin folder, but I think that doesn't work, because it only looks for its own native plugins there. But if you have your plugins there, it may work if you set that path in PI's Preference (or is it called Options? I don't remember.).
