free special effects for photoshop

can any one tell me if there is a site where you can get :

FREE SPECIAL EFFECTS LIKE,,,FLAMES, FIRE AND SO ON
that i can use with photoshop ????

also, is there a site to get , winzip or what ever they are called for free also to use ???

The only free fire effect is from Ulead's Particle plugin. See http://www.ulead.com/download/freegoodies.htm
But it isn't very realistic.

Much better are Panopticum Fire from www.panopticum.com and EyeCandy 5 Nature from www.alienskin.com, which are both commercial.

just wanted to thank you for the free sites.

some of them worked and others did not but, thanks any ways.

i did get some pictures from them but, i did not find any special effects in them.

if you know of other sites can you please let me know or if any one knows where to go for free special effects ,,,,
