CS2 reinstall question

Post by shuggy »

Hi Guys, I didnt get any answer to why my LINK option is greyed out in Adobe CS2

So the next thing is if I reinstall my original disk

1....will it give me an option to repair rather than install?

2....will I lose my extra filters/plugins that I´ve installed?

3....I think this happened after installing the CS2 patch, any known problems with this patch?

Much obliged for any comments

Will plug-ins be lost when re-installing Photoshop.

Post by mrubin »

That may, or may not happen. The best way to insure that plug-ins are retained is to copy all the plug-ins to a separate folder and save elsewhere.
After PS is re-installed, and if the plug-ins are lost, open the saved folder
and drag all it contents into the regular PS plug-ins folder. They'll all be restored!
