Cut out Mask

Postby pfennig » Sat Oct 21, 2006 2:42 pm

Hi -- Is there such a plug-in for Adobe CS2 that would be like a cut out mask similar to the cut negative holders for 35mm holders for when you would print 35mm prints and have that black edge around the print. Thanks a lot.

Kubota Sloppy borders are among the best I've seen, having been created manually in the darkroom and digitzed. I used them throughout my last ezine (issue #6).

They can be applied as Actions or manually, using apps such as EasyFrame.

Also see the list of other options under "Edges/borders/frames" here.

The most popular edge and frame plugins are Photographic Edges from www.autofx.com and PhotoFrame from www.ononesoftware.com. They certainly include a 35mm holder frame.
