How do i download new brushes and effects for Adobe Photoshop 6? In other words, how do i add them to photoshop after i download them. They come in a ZIP file which i don't know how to use on Photoshop.

Firstly unzip your downloaded files, after unzipping them you will find the various folders which contain your brushes, navigate to your brushes folder, wherever you keep it, ( mine is on an external HDD ) and then drag and drop your brushes into the brushes folder. They are named .abr
PS Zip files can be unzipped using a number of small free programmes. I use IZARC. which unzips almost all compressed files
