file conversion
Hey... is there a "simple" way to convert a .cdr file to something that Photoshop can open? Or might there be somebody out there who has both Corel and Photoshop and would open the image and convert it for me?
Why? I'm a (small time) webworker with a few loyal clients, one of whom has a logo done in Corel (.cdr file) and I need to be able to work with it in Adobe.
Thanks.

A long time ago someone had the same problem. He wanted to convert a CDR file to be able to open it in otehr applications. Unfortunatelly the CDR format isn't widely supported, so you usually need a Corel application to do it. Maybe there are some other applications that support it, e.g. check out IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com), but I don't have much hope.
Small advice for all others: Better save your vector images in EPS format which is supported by almost all applications.
