Hi
I'm looking for a plug-in or something to age a photograph... turn a color photo into a 60 years back (b/w, broken borders, scratchs...)

Thank you very much

Here's a tutorial...

I haven't tried it yet but you can see by the preview that it gives quite an impressive and realistic result:

Oops, sorry, I missed the part where you said you wanted to change the color...
Anyway, if you want to age a photo all you have to do is add a little bit of blur, then a new layer, fill it with a sepia tone and change the blend mode to color (this will make the entire photograph become a bit sepia). The rest of the effects you can find in the tutorial provided above.

Hi again

Thanks a lot for your advices.
I've seen that tutorial, but it's just to put a person into 30 years older, not to make the photo older.

I've almost got the effect I wanted after trying actions from photoshop:
1-Put the photo in sepia
2-fade border to white (to create a effect of broken border) (I used a Harrys filter)
3-Texture the photograph

I wanted to get some random scratchs to complete the effect, but I'm still looking for the plug-in

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english

Bye

Have a look at the Old Movie plugin from http://www.v-d-l.com which is quite inexpensive. It also adds random scratches.

Thanks Harald
