Filters W7 32 and 64 bit

Hi, ive got problems with filters on W7 as well.
On my 32bit almost all filters worked in PSP and quite a few in PS cs5.
On my 1st 64bit ps cs5 did not show the filters nor the file i checked in preferences, but the filters installed ok and showed in psp. They didnt however work all as they should.
In PS CS3 a few filters in the file in preferences showed.

Now ive got a brandnew computer especially because of these damned filterproblems and guess what?
Filters that have to be installed will no longer install at all. When i look in the file i can see some of them but they dont show in PS nor PSP. Filters that dont need installing show (some) in psp but not in PS and i can no longer import filters in Filtersunlimeted. FU itself works but it does not import any other filters like it did on my 32bit w7.

So now ive got 3 computers and none of them works as it should as far as filters are concerned.
The 32bit is the best for filters, however, i cant use that one very often as it always has big problems after updating. HP says it cant have, but it has, everytime after a windows update i cant start it, it takes 45 minutes to show my desk and everything i try doing afterthat like open something takes at least 20 minutes, so.....

Is there anyone who can tell me how to fix this filterproblem, i would really like to work in CS5 and PSP again....

Many plugins are only available as 32-bit, so you need to run the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS5 to use them.

Concerning installation please right click the installation file and choose "Run as administrator". This makes sure that Windows7 allows older installers to access specific folders. It may also be a good idea to run PSP or Photoshop as administrator (as described) in order to avoid similar problems for older plugins.

If you search this forum for the terms "DEP" and "FM Patcher", you will get more information on making older plugins work under Vista and 7.

 Already did install as administrator and using 32bit ps and psp is 32 bit anyway.
FM patcher doesnt work neither. Thats why i hoped you would maybe have another solution....guess not. I dont know why i always have these things happening, i read in forums other people have SOME problems with SOME filters, but they most of the time get it solved. And than there is me, not able to install some filters at all and not able to solve any of the problems :-?
But thanks anyway,

Please let me know exactly what problem you have with which plugin.

Concerning Filters Unlimited please contact http://www.icnet.de. They may have an update that fixes the problem.

This is one of the messages i get, there is another one but i forgot what that said.
Invalid or versionconflict? On the other 64 and 32bit the same sandflowerfilter could be imported without problems.

Than alien skin nature for instance is installed and works fine, but texture and impact dont show in psp. It is in the controlpanel( where you remove software from-is that the control panel in english?) but it does not show is psp nor ps. PS CS 5 doesnt show any of the plugins that are in the file i referred to in preferences. It did on my 32 bit w7 machine. Although not all the plugins in that file showed....i have no idea why this is happening.

Please contact icnet.de about the FU problem. Noone else will probably be able to help you with that.

Alienskin dropped support for PSP with their latest plugins. Some of their plugins are automation plugins which do not work in PSP. But I would have thought that Texture and Impact would be filter plugins that work in PSP. It could still be that PSP does not find the .8bf files of these plugins.

Concerning Photoshop either run the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS5 or download the 64-bit updates from Alienskin.
