Filter to put Copyright in Imagery

Does anyone know of a plugin that will put a copyright notice (NOT watermark) on images (e.g. it should allow you to select an orientation and location, color, and font).

There are some standalone applications that let you do that. Never saw a plugin. Besides, you can use the text tool of your image application to do that.
