I started working with FM instead of PiCo, following Mr.Heim's advice ( lot of thanks !) . When working on a non-rectangular selection, is it possible to see in the proxy window the filter acting only on the selection? I need this, because, when coloring a portrait for example, the work on some parts of the face needs to be judged with the unselected area unchanged by the filter ( I hope my English to be understandable).

This feature is already incorportated into FilterMeister, but hasn't been activated yet, because PSP produces several memory error messages when you try to use it. This problem still has to be fixed before we will activate that feature. Sorry.
