Can anyone help me?! I am trying to find out how to do a Comic Book effect and an Andy Warhol effect like those used on PhotoWow.com
Are these designs done by using a filter or a photo program specally for this effect. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Anybodys suggestions on how to would be helpful.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the effect you're after (I can't access PhotoWow.com with my browser, silly Flash intro ): You might like to try the Halftone plugin by VanDerLee, it mimics the dotted effect that you see in comic books and newspaper images.

http://www.photowow.com/new1/index.asp

...the URL above is a NON-Flash page.

Just IMHO, Flash=CR@P. I can do anything Flash can do with graphics/html, but without the internet-security risk...

Again IMHO...those pics don't look like anything special to me.

Any number of plugins could give similar-to-superior results, such as Adobe's old Gallery effects, the Xero collection, the Pictureman Gallery collection, Jasc's Virtual Painter, or Buzz Pro...just to name a few.

Jeeebus H *tapdancing* WTF?!!!!

I just noticed their price...$90.00 for one 2-person image.

Some people might call that a VERY good deal.

...and then again, some people might tie your hands behind you, put a gun to your head, take a streaming whizzz on your back & tell you that it is raining. :o
