Plug-ins for Premiere... and where exactly to put them!

Postby ronemser » Sat Apr 09, 2005 4:40 pm

Hi All,

I had looked over the FAQ's about this subject already but still haven't been successful.

Under Program Files/Adobe/Premiere Pro/1,5 is indeed a plug-in directory, but there is also a directory labeled Common and en_US

In the Common Folder I have folders for AAF and AEFilters.

Where exactly can I put my After Effect plus any additional plug-ins I might purchase?

Thanks in advance for your patience.

-Ron

PS. Can you point me in the right direction so that I can properly use the "film grain" TGA's I downloaded from Harold?

I think you can place a plugin anywhere inside the Plug-Ins folder. The AEFilters folder seems to be for After Effect plugins, so it would make sense to put them there.

If you are refering to Harry's Gradients, you need to open them with the Gradient Wipe transition which is already installed with Premiere.
