problem copying wedding photos onto dvd

Postby honeysuckle002 » Tue Jun 30, 2009 4:08 am

I'm ready to rip my hair out. I just got married and my photographer told me to copy the DVD of proofs. Usually a simple thing to do but my hard drive crashed a week before the wedding. I had it replaced but ever since I can't burn DVDs by copying folders to the E drive. My duo stick won't even work in it. Is there another way to burn my wedding photos through dvd ?

What platform you are using? Mac or Windows? Windows XP or Vista. If Vista, you could use the Windows DVD Maker, get very professional-looking DVDs. There are also many tutorials online to help you if you are not familiar with Windows DVD Maker. For XP, many photo to dvd software can do that. Just search google for your favorite one. I've used one called Wondershare Movie Story. Not bad, easily turning photos to slideshow and burn onto DVD.

anyway, google is your good friend.

Sounds like Windows ("E drive"). Yes, Google or visit www.versiontracker.com and search for DVD copying apps.

If you have a friend with a Mac this will be easy ;-). Use Disk Utility, Toast, SimplyBurns, etc.

Try to download a proDVD file format and a new burner maybe nero is also a nice one. You can also have more research on google to find more solutions regarding your problem. Just take it easy.

Or if this is simply a data DVD (as opposed to a slide show with a VIDEO_TS folder), basic drag-and-drop to your hard drive should work.

Thanks very much. Useful tool to resolve my problem. It's so easy to use and magic. Directly turn my wedding photos as slideshow and burn onto DVD.

So nice!

Hi, everybody, have a good day!
