Ugly artefact spots with FB and 16 bits TIF in PL32

When I apply Focal Blade 1.03 to 16 bit TIF images in PL32 I get a lot of ugly black and blue spots and lines along white areas in the final images. This does not occur on the same image downsized to 8 bit TIF....

Any idea of where it comes from ?

I suspect that what you experience is sharpening noise. It can occure on some image when you use too much sharpening. You could try the White and Black Halo sliders to remove it.

I don't know why it occurs only in the 16bit version. Can you please send me the image or at least the affected area of it? That would help me to analyze the problem.
